about me:
I'm a native Californian and have landed in SW Florida by way of a long sojourn in Chicago. I have a BA in Studio Art, and in Chicago earned my MFA in painting at the School of the Art Institute. I was lucky to teach at SAIC as well. Before my last year of graduate school I was in the right place at the right time, when a classmate asked me if I needed a summer job. I was hired onto a project with the designers Zajac and Callahan and spent the next 3 months on my knees working on a very "more is more" concept of painted floors. It was an exceptional introduction to art and technique and I fell in love with decorative painting. Professionally I have worked with so many talented designers, and wonderful home owners - every project informs me with skills and experiences which I learn from and bring to the next job. It is impossible to measure the good feeling of a job well done, providing a painted finish or commissioned art work that fulfills the dreams of my clients.
